I visited The Chocolate Moose today. My first visit and their first customer of the morning. The pleasant lady who unlocked the door for me and took my order said that each day her customers find exactly one gluten-free selection available for purchase behind the glass. Today’s selection, she said, was a cupcake. A chocolate s’mores cupcake.

But $3.78, Mr. Moose? Per each? And why only one kind to choose from?

If Coffee to a Tea can offer three to four varieties of gluten-free sandwich bread every day and make sandwiches with the bread they bake and press juice to order, what are we to make of the competition’s one-flavor-fits-all, if-you-have-to-ask-you-can’t-afford-it cupcake?
