Moonlight and Magnolias at Centre Stage. In March of this year, I’ll reprise the role at Temple theatre as the Great Wheel returns me, in some significant respects, to where I was two solar cycles ago … wearing a 1930’s haircut received from Tommy the Hendersonville barber prior to playing Ben Hecht in a March production of Moonlight. My life, on the other hand, is hugely different than it was.

The ponytail now resides in a large Altoids tin, where it will remain until I decide upon a more fitting memorial. Within the next week or so, I’ll shave and then the facial transformation will be complete.

So I’ve washed clothes, prepared my tax paperwork for the accountant, bought groceries, visited Peter, filed, paid bills, cleaned the bathrooms and wrapped up the SCSBA convention program. Soon, I’ll run out of good excuses for not studying lines.
