The film

I met with Chris White and his wife, Emily, at the Haywood Road Starbucks today to talk about a feature-length film that he’s funding through Kickstarter.com. Actually, it’s a film that he’s trying to fund through Kickstarter.com. No guarantees. If he raises $7,750 by February 28, his self-imposed deadline, he’ll make the movie. If the deadline passes before the goal is reached, he won’t.

Chris has invited me to play one of the film’s two central characters, and I’ve accepted his invitation, which I count as my donation to the cause. You, on the other hand, can help by clicking here.

The name of the film is “Taken In,” but don’t be put off by that. You’ll be charged only if and when the goal is reached. And if the goal is reached, you’ll get to see me in a movie. I can imagine no greater incentive than that.
