Coming attraction

If you happen to live in Greenville, Spartanburg, Tryon, Charleston, Dillon or Atlanta, the film “Taken In” is coming to a theater near you. To a real theater selling real tickets. Screenings begin July 17 and continue through August 22.

Most of my information about the film’s progress since we wrapped four months ago has come in the form of text messages from director Chris White… what’s been done, what happens next, what’s working and not working. I didn’t ask how Linda Lavin happened to see the film in New York, but she did, and Chris says she liked it. Or did I imagine that? I also might have imagined the question about whether I’d be willing to pay my own travel expenses to Tribeca if the opportunity arose.
